CFOP · Step 3
OLL — Orientation of the Last Layer
OLL is the third step of the CFOP method. After you have built the cross, your first two layers (F2L), and you reach the last layer, OLL orients every piece on top so the entire upper face shows a single colour in one algorithm. There are 37 algorithms shown here, grouped by the shape the yellow stickers make before you start.
Learning to recognise the case quickly matters as much as the execution. The cards below are organised by visual group — dots, lines, crosses, fish, awkward shapes and so on — so the patterns that look alike sit next to each other. Open any case for the full algorithm, a setup to scramble straight into it, and a list of look-alike cases to train against.
