PLL — Permutation of the Last Layer
PLL is the fourth and final step of the CFOP method. By the time you reach it the top face is already a single colour from OLL, but the last-layer pieces still need to slide into their correct positions. PLL permutes those corners and edges — cycling them around the top — so the cube is solved in one algorithm. There are 21 algorithms shown here, grouped by perm type.
Each perm has a name (Aa, T, Y, the G perms, and so on) and a distinctive pattern of headlights, bars and blocks that you learn to recognise at a glance. The cards below are grouped by family so the look-alikes sit together.
