Each petal has to travel down to the white side. It also has to land between the right colours. Matched means this. The petal’s side sticker lines up with the middle of the same colour.

One petal at a time. Turn only the top. Stop when the petal’s side colour sits right above the middle of the same colour. Now turn that whole face twice. The petal falls straight down and lands where it belongs. Every side has a letter, and a 2 just means turn it twice.

Do all four. If you always line up before you drop, a drop can never knock out an edge you have done. Each petal has its own face.

Done-check: when the daisy is gone, the white cross is finished underneath. Turn the cube over and look. Every cross edge shows white, and its side colour runs straight down into the middle that matches.

Found an edge whose side colour is wrong? It is in the wrong place. Turn that face twice to send it back up top. Turn the top until the colour sits over the middle that matches it. Then turn the face twice again. Now it is home.

This matching holds up the whole solve. A cross edge in the wrong place quietly breaks every step after it. When you are sure, turn the cube back over. White down, yellow up, and leave it there.
