Yellow Corners — Orient

Twist each yellow corner in place with the repeated R′ D′ R D sequence — and the cube is solved.

How to hold the cube

Yellow up. Pick a front face NOW and keep it facing you until the cube is solved — between corners you turn ONLY the top (U).

The last step. Every corner sits in its slot; each just needs twisting until yellow faces up.

Bring a twisted corner to the FRONT-RIGHT of the top with U turns (not by rotating the cube!).

Repeat the full four-move set R′ D′ R D: TWO sets if the corner’s yellow sticker faces right, FOUR sets if it faces front. Never stop mid-set.

The bottom two layers will look destroyed while you work — they are supposed to. The sequence returns everything exactly when all corners are done.

After finishing a corner, turn ONLY U to bring the next twisted corner to the front-right. Never rotate the whole cube, never turn D on its own.

When all yellows face up, turn U to align the top layer with the sides. Solved. If it ends scrambled, one of the two rules was broken — the cube was rotated mid-step, or a set was left unfinished. That is the only way this step fails.

The algorithm

Corner twist

Twisted corner at the front-right of the top: repeat the whole four-move set — twice when yellow faces right, four times when yellow faces front — then turn only U to fetch the next corner.
