Megaminx LL — the last layer in four looks (4LLL)
The last layer of a Megaminx has five corners and five edges, and most cubers finish it in four looks: EO, CO, CP, EP. Each look fixes one thing and leaves the rest alone, so there are only 37 cases to learn — far fewer than one-look methods need.
Every diagram is the top of the puzzle seen from above: the pentagon and the top row of its five neighbours. Stickers that this look does not care about are grey, so you only look at what matters. Open a case for its algorithm, a setup that reaches it, and the cases it is easy to confuse with.
EO — Edge orientation
First look: flip the edges so all five show the top colour. 3 cases.
CO — Corner orientation
Second look: twist the corners until the whole top is one colour. 16 cases.
CP — Corner permutation
Third look: move the corners to their places; the edges can still be anywhere. 3 cases.
EP — Edge permutation
Last look: cycle the edges home and the puzzle is solved. 15 cases.
