Solve Your Rubik's Cube

Scan your scrambled cube with your camera — or paint the colors into the net by hand — and get a step-by-step solution of 22 moves or fewer, animated on a 3D cube.

Scan & solve your cube

Scan all six faces with your camera and get an efficient solution. You can fix any sticker by hand before solving.

Start by holding your cube with the GREEN center facing you and the WHITE center on top.

How it works

Scan each of the six faces through the guided viewfinder. The scanner reads the sticker colors, recalibrates them against your cube's own centers to absorb lighting shifts, and checks that the state is actually solvable before solving — a mis-read sticker gets flagged for a quick fix instead of producing a nonsense solution. The solution comes from Herbert Kociemba's two-phase algorithm, computed in a background thread.

No camera, or bad light? Enter the colors by hand in the editor. Want to learn to solve it yourself instead? Start with the beginner's method or just play with the cube playground.
