The CubersDen home page in Hindi

Many cubers who find CubersDen are nine or ten years old, and many of them read only their own language. For them, one English button in the middle of a Hindi page is a wall. So we did not just add four languages. We went back over all of them.

Four new languages

Everything is in them: the beginner course, the hints while you solve, the case names in the OLL and PLL trainers, the timer, battles, the rules and the help pages. Names every cuber says the same way, like T-Perm, Sune or ao5, stay as they are.

Written for kids, not translated word by word

For each language we first wrote down how cubers and kids in that country really talk: what they call a scramble, an edge, a solve. Then several translators wrote the texts, and others checked every sentence. Polish, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese got the same treatment this week, so they read better too.

Your language finds you

If your phone or browser speaks one of our languages, or your profile says you live in Brazil, India, the Philippines or Ukraine, the site offers your language once, written in your language. One tap and you are there.

In the apps

The iPhone and Android apps speak English, Polish, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese today. Portuguese, Hindi, Filipino and Ukrainian come in the next app update. This is how it looks in Hindi:

See a mistake?

Native speakers have not read every language yet. If something sounds wrong, tap Something wrong with the translation? at the bottom of any page. In the apps it is Settings → Report a translation problem. We read every report.
